Nominations are needed for the 2013 Touch the Future Award that was inaugurated in 2012 to honor and acknowledge teachers who teach teachers.

The award is to recognize those who have either:
Provided a framework for those who will teach,
Advanced knowledge in their subject,
Provided inspiration, enthusiasm, and lasting motivation to students and/or associates.

Focus on “Independent Thinking”

This week IAFSA launched a new initiative: “Independent Thinking” Focus Groups.

Location, location, location…

As part of our community outreach, we are now members of the MetroWest Tourism and Visitors Bureau.  This means that the Independent Association of Framingham State Alumni and Alumni House are listed on the Bureau’s website:   www.metrowestvisitors.org.  An added benefit is that Alumni House is also listed on the Massachusetts Film Office’s website:  http://www.mafilm.org.
